Whenever I think of Taiwan, the first thing that comes to my mind is their vibrant night markets! With only one night to roam around Fengjia Night Market, let's dive straight into some of the amazing street food that we had!
Grilled Scallops

I'm going to start off with my top favourite! These grilled scallops were hands down one of the best street food I've had in Taiwan! They have various seasonings that you can choose from and I tried the Original Sea Salt and Black Pepper flavour which I absolutely love! The scallops were so juicy and savoury - definitely a must-try!

Quan Guo Fried Chicken

One indispensable Taiwanese street snack is their famous Fried Chicken! We tried the one from Quan Guo (全国) and the chicken meat was so tender and juicy! This was also one of the popular stores that were recommended to us by the locals - you won't regret it!

Chicken Thigh Roll

Another one of my favourite street food was the Chicken Thigh Roll! Just imagine this - juicy chicken thigh wrapped around by a layer of crispy chicken skin that was grilled to perfection - definitely a treat that leaves you craving for more!

Fried Mushrooms

We also tried the popular deep fried mushrooms which were kind of oily but tasted so good! There are different types of mushrooms that you can choose from, which were then sprinkled with spice powder to add that extra flavour. Give it a go, just be sure to drink more water!

Papaya Milkshake

Instead of desserts, we decided to end our (sinful) food hunting adventure with Taiwan's Signature Papaya Milkshake! It's not too sweet and so refreshing - certainly the best way to wrap up our first night at Taichung!
